The services offered by myself and my partner, Jerry Muller have been retained by a number of different industries and businesses. Ranging from a Business Association in Florida wanting to develop and implement a Marketing Plan that would help them become a “destination” to helping a newly formed 501c3 Florida non profit establish itself in the artist community. A world class manufacturer of construction equipment headquartered in the Midwest has established an on going relationship with Benchmark over the past six years. We helped this company define itself and shape the approach they follow in establishing distribution. Our market research is utilized on a quarterly basis to adjust their strategy and tactics. We are working with a Massachusetts 501c3 non profit as it becomes a recognized leader in providing housing and services for the “developmentally challenged”. As Director of Marketing for The Read Corporation, I was responsible for the planning and execution of all marketing efforts on behalf of the corporation and the distributor network including the development and implementation of three-year marketing plans, including goals, objectives, strategies, tactics and budgeting: · Recognized by industry’s premier distribution network as leader in the construction industry for marketing efforts. · Established and implemented “Marketing Analysis” processed on a geographical, business segment and customer potential basis. · Developed and implemented Marketing Action Plans (MAP’s) for distributors. Established an industry leading Coop Advertising Plan. · Designed proactive vs. reactive Lead Tracking/Telemarketing system. · Designed and produced all corporate presentations for new business opportunities. · Responsible for widely publicized product launches. · Produced corporate participation in International Trade Shows, in cooperation with Department of Commerce. · Established Marketing programs for Master Distributorship in Japan. · Directed and produced corporate videos. · Established “electronic” communications for the corporation with industry and government departments. · Established and chaired major corporate committees - CIC (Corporate Image Committee) & PRG (Product Review Group). Instrumental in establishing DRC (Distributor Review Committee). · Invited to participate on National Panels and First Annual Pit & Quarry (ADVANSTAR) Roundtable. · Recognized by the Governor, Senate and House of Representatives for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for community involvement and charitable work. · Citizen of the Year for hometown of North Reading, Massachusetts.
In addition to extensive experience in developing corporate marketing strategies and techniques, I have recent experience in the real world of sales as General Manager of a direct sales office, where I applied results driven I.C.E. strategies to: · Increase retail sales 50% over previous distribution in first year. · Increase of 176% in total income over previous. · Aggressively competed with an established competitor of 14 years.
